In January of 2011, I began writing one great thing about being blind every day. The stories are funny, enlightening, and entertaining, according to my readers. Enjoy!

Introduction. This is my first ever blog post. I know! I am very behind the times.
your stories are wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I just caught up on all your posts and look forward to reading more.
I stumbled upon your blog when a friend of mine posted on facebook that he saw a blind women get into a car drive off with her dog in the passenger seat. I was looking online for some sort of explanation but instead spent 2 or 3 hours reading (laughing, crying, smiling).
I also recently had an argument with a friend that said that assistant dogs or service dogs looked sad. Your dogs are happy wonderful dogs with wonderful personalities. I think dogs like working and are lucky to have a friend and such an important job.
I am a storyteller, disability awareness presenter, and Music Therapist. I travel with a guide dog. I recently have become a reporter with the accessible channel and have received two large storytelling grants to create one woman storytelling full evening performances.
